Upon opening the puzzle, we see seven Twitter[a] threads, each involving Emma and another Twitter user. The other Twitter user’s handle is @keyboardlayouts, suggesting that we should consider alternate keyboard layouts. The usernames, along with the profile pictures, clue specific layouts:

As clued by the tweet threads, looking between the pair of characters in the corresponding keyboard layout gives a string of letters, each of which we note is one letter off from the abbreviation of the first photos.
